We are looking for a senior, technically minded architect and problem solver who can define and guide the technical direction for various platforms within the Lead to Quote and Win to Deliver spaces spanning application architecture, platform services, integrations, data flows, environments, and enterprise dependencies.
This role will support a modern solutioning platform that spans the lead-to-quote lifecycle, including intake, discovery and scoping, service design and proposal, contracting, and project initiation. The platform integrates with enterprise systems and services such as CRM, ERP, data, document, signature, messaging, identity, and workflow capabilities.
The role blends architecture, hands-on technical leadership, functional understanding, and strong collaboration with engineering, product, data, security, infrastructure, QA, support, and business teams. You will guide solution design, resolve cross-team technical dependencies, and help ensure that the platform is scalable, secure, supportable, and aligned with business outcomes.
You will operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment supporting a growing product and delivery organization. Success in this position will require the ability to move between high-level architecture and implementation detail, communicate trade-offs clearly, and make sound decisions in an environment with evolving requirements and multiple stakeholder communities.
This role is focused on the broader technical and functional architecture of our platforms and applications. It works closely with leadership, delivery teams, product owners, business stakeholders, other architects, engineers, data engineers, security partners, vendors, and service providers to ensure capabilities fit into the overall application, integration, data, security, and platform architecture.
As a member of our architecture and delivery team, you will:
Works closely with enterprise/data/platform architects to:
- Deliver features and products using technology in alignment with the blueprint and standards.
- Monitor the current-state solution portfolio to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies used by the application, or misalignment with business requirements.
- Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models.
- Define application boundaries, platform services, system responsibilities, integration patterns, data flows, environments, and technical dependencies.
- Translate business processes and functional requirements into secure, scalable, maintainable, and supportable solution designs.
- Establish architecture standards and reference patterns for APIs, microservices, event-driven integrations, messaging, data access, configuration, and deployment.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical direction across the Core Path, Integrations and Implementations, Core Platform, Support, Data, and AI-adjacent teams.
- Design and review service-to-service interfaces, including contracts, authentication, authorization, inputs, outputs, error handling, retries, rate limits, idempotency, and failure behavior.
- Guide integration architecture across CRM, ERP, data, document, signature, identity, messaging, notification, and other enterprise services.
- Define and maintain the technical architecture baseline, system overview diagrams, integration catalog, dependency map, interface specifications, and architecture decision records.
- Partner with Product and business stakeholders to ensure that application behavior reflects the intended user journey, approval process, roles, permissions, business rules, and lifecycle states.
- Work with Data Architecture and engineering teams to clarify data ownership, system-of-record decisions, data movement, lineage, schema dependencies, and cross-database relationships.
- Establish technical approaches for resilience, observability, logging, monitoring, alerting, health checks, recoverability, and operational support.
- Provide architecture guidance for environment configuration, secrets, feature flags, deployment controls, release management, and rollback strategies.
- Support delivery teams through solution design, design reviews, implementation guidance, code and configuration alignment, and release readiness.
- Identify cross-system impacts, sequencing constraints, risks, and dependencies before changes are committed.
- Maintain the technical debt inventory, lifecycle plan, retirement assumptions, and modernization roadmap.
- Partner with QA and UAT teams to ensure architecture risks, integration paths, negative scenarios, performance concerns, and end-to-end process behavior are represented in testing.
- Support incident response, root-cause analysis, problem management, and corrective action for issues that cross application, platform, integration, or data boundaries.
- Partner with the ML/LLM Ops Architect to ensure AI-enabled capabilities fit coherently within the broader solution and platform architecture.
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and IT Operations to align with WWT standards and support expectations.
- Lead technical and functional knowledge transfer to IT delivery and support teams
- Ensure architecture documentation is accurate, versioned, linked to accepted releases, and usable by teams responsible for support and future delivery.
- Help establish reusable platform and integration capabilities that can support future solution areas and WWT initiatives.
- Provide mentoring and technical guidance to architects, engineers, technical leads, and delivery team members without relying solely on formal reporting authority.
- Escalate and remove technical impediments that prevent teams from delivering reliable, maintainable, and supportable solutions.
- Participate in optimizing solution architectures to manage investment, utilization, costs and identify cost control mechanisms
- Prepare and deliver informal and formal presentations to architecture teams, IT leadership, delivery teams, business partners, and stakeholders.
