Full Job Description
Job Description:
About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll build core parts of the Business AI Cloud: the services, pipelines, and agent infrastructure that let Fortune 500 customers deploy governed AI in production. You'll own complex features end to end, set the technical bar for your team, and mentor other engineers. You'll work closely with product, design, and applied AI teams.
What You'll Do
Design and build scalable, secure, production-grade services across the Data, Knowledge, Model, or Agentic layers of the platform
Develop systems for multi-agent orchestration, model routing, and low-code agent building
Build integrations and data connectors that work with customers' existing stacks (CRMs, ERPs, data lakes, and cloud data platforms) without migrating or copying data
Contribute to guardrails, observability, RBAC, and governance capabilities that keep AI behavior predictable and compliant
Lead technical design discussions and write clear design docs
Run thorough code reviews and uphold standards for quality, security, and performance
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
Partner with product and customer-facing teams to turn enterprise requirements into well-scoped solutions
Take part in on-call rotations and help resolve production issues
Help improve engineering practices, tooling, and CI/CD
Early Partnership (25%) - Review RFCs and PRDs to prevent downstream issues, provide architectural guidance during planning phases
Self-Service Enablement (25%) - Create documentation, knowledge bases, and tooling that eliminate support dependencies
Incident Excellence (20%) - Design incident response frameworks, escalation procedures, and comprehensive playbooks that teams can self-execute
Standards & Architecture (20%) - Define technical standards, operational frameworks, and service readiness criteria that enable team autonomy
Service Ownership Coaching (10%) - Guide teams through ownership maturity, scorecard compliance, and operational best practices
Maintain multi-tenant, multi-cloud infrastructure while building the systems that make your expertise scalable
What You'll Bring

Experience with CI/CD and automated testing
A history of delivering complex projects with minimal supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Production Excellence - Deep incident management, RCA processes, and on-call system design experience
Architecture & Planning - Experience with RFC/PRD review processes, API design patterns, service architecture
Collaboration & Coaching - Track record of enabling team capabilities rather than doing work for teams

Nice to Have
Experience building LLM-powered applications or agent frameworks (RAG, tool use, MCP, multi-agent workflows)
