Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team, focusing exclusively on the advancement of our Computer Vision and AI initiatives. You will be responsible for architecting and optimizing high-performance algorithms that power the next generation of intelligent features. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in C++ and a strong background in optimizing compute-heavy workloads across heterogeneous hardware. This role primarily focuses on embedded systems development for high-performance applications.

Responsibilities

• CV & AI Feature Development: Design, develop, implement and integrate advanced Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence features, ensuring robustness and scalability.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize vision and AI pipelines for real-time performance on CPU, GPU, NPU, and other relevant hardware accelerators.
• Pipeline Architecture: Architect efficient software stacks to manage complex CV/AI workflows with minimal latency and high power efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, research and engineering teams to integrate AI models and vision-based solutions into the final product.
• Advanced Prototyping: Rapidly prototype and iterate on new algorithms to solve challenging perception and inference problems.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Programming Expertise: Proficiency in C++
• Hardware Optimization: Demonstrated experience implementing and optimizing code and compute workloads on embedded heterogeneous hardware (CPU, GPU, NPU, DSP).
• Computer Vision Proficiency: Extensive hands-on experience with Computer Vision techniques, including libraries like OpenCV, and implementing deep learning inference pipelines.
• Foundational Knowledge: Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software architecture.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Bonus (Preferred):

• Experience with imaging and video pipelines (ISP, sensors, RTSP, H.264/H.265) and visual computing/parallel programming frameworks (OpenCL, OpenGL).
