Job Title: Sr. Scientist II

Compensation: $130,000 - $145,000
Work Model: Onsite - onsite
Hours: M-F, 8-5pm
Responsibilities
- Perform complicated or demanding assignments requiring specialized knowledge, offering solutions that are creative and/or inventive.
- Define short- and mid-term objectives and implement plans to accomplish these objectives.
- May direct the work of other personnel.
- Maintain accurate, precise, and legible laboratory notebooks.
- Frequently communicate status updates across the organization and maintain good documentation.
- Write reports and technical summaries.
- Represent the company to outside organizations on technical issues.
- Continually broaden professional expertise through comprehensive knowledge of scientific literature and competitive products.
- Understand and assist in identifying broad scope and critical elements of a project.
- Take technical lead of projects, handling broad assignments and objectives under minimal supervision.
- Accomplish short-term objectives efficiently.
Requirements
- Experience in IVD medical devices or pharmaceutical industry is essential, with a focus on design control processes.
- Hematology experience is absolutely required, including expertise in blood analysis techniques, interpretation of hematologic data, and familiarity with relevant laboratory methodologies.
- Proven experience leading projects and presenting material to large groups, explaining processes and justifying decisions.
- Ability to communicate technical content effectively and support cross-functional collaboration for new product development and product support.
- Strong documentation skills and experience in technical reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to handle broad assignments and objectives independently.
- PhD with 2 years of industry experience in relevant fields.
