ABOUT THIS ROLE:

The Senior Provider Recruiter is responsible for leading full-cycle physician and advanced provider recruitment for ophthalmology practices across US Eye, with a focus on building high-quality, sustainable provider pipelines in competitive markets. This role partners closely with clinical leadership, operations, and executive stakeholders to develop and execute strategic recruiting plans that align with organizational growth objectives, patient access goals, and provider retention outcomes. The position requires deep expertise in ophthalmology and physician recruiting dynamics, relationship-driven sourcing, and the ability to navigate complex, high-touch candidate engagements.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for ophthalmologists, optometrists, and allied eye care providers, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies, including direct outreach, networking, residency/fellowship engagement, and industry partnerships
  • Build and maintain strong pipelines of passive candidates in targeted subspecialties (e.g., retina, glaucoma, cornea, oculoplastics)
  • Partner with operational and physician leadership to define hiring needs, market opportunities, and competitive positioning for each role
  • Serve as a strategic advisor on compensation trends, candidate expectations, and market intelligence within ophthalmology recruitment
  • Manage candidate experience end-to-end, ensuring a high-touch, professional, and responsive process that reflects the organization's brand
  • Coordinate and lead site visits, including itinerary development, stakeholder alignment, and follow-up engagement to drive decision-making
  • Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to enhance provider recruitment materials, digital presence, and outreach campaigns
  • Track and report key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline health, conversion rates) and adjust strategies to improve outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory, credentialing, and internal hiring requirements throughout the recruitment process
  • Support onboarding and transition planning to ensure successful integration and long-term retention of providers
  • Build long-term relationships with residency and fellowship programs to establish a sustainable talent pipeline

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
