About the Role

Infrastructure Engineering Inc. (IEI)Detroit Office is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Civil Engineer (P.E. License required) to join our Team, focusing on diverse infrastructure and airport development projects. We are a leading engineering firm known for quality, responsiveness, and a proven track record of success as a Primecivil engineering firm. The Senior Project Manager will ensure the successful completion of assigned projects within scope, timeline, and budget constraints while adhering to industry best practices in quality and safety. Essential Duties/Functions and Responsibilities

* Conduct value engineering reviews to achieve an optimal balance between cost and quality.

* Draft, review, and validate change orders, managing risks and ensuring alignment among all involved parties.

* Facilitate communication among various stakeholders, including airport authorities, construction teams, and third-party consultants.

* Host regular project progress meetings to provide clear status updates and proactively identify potential issues that could affect project deliverables.

* Implement and oversee asset life cycle management strategies to ensure long-term operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

* Manage the design phase, ensuring engineering consultants deliver per contractual agreements.

* Oversee the construction phase, tracking timelines, milestones, and budgets while preparing regular status reports for the client.

* Review and validate engineering designs to comply with established standards and regulations.

* Ideally will bring 15-20+ years of hands-on experience Design work in Construction, Infrastructure Projects and/or Airport development projects; preferably focusing on airport or other infrastructure projects.

* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required

* Active Professional Engineer (PE) License in Michigan (MI)

* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
