Talent Community - Senior Project Manager - On Site - Wilmington, MA

About the Role

The purpose of this position is to plan, direct, and coordinate all aspects of the project lifecycle from planning stage through transition to post project support with focus on working within predetermined estimates and timelines. To control the flow of information on each project to ensure the owner, construction manager, architect, subcontractors and CBRE company personnel understand the quality and schedule requirements of the project. This position is for a fulfillment/ manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do
  • Strong facilities knowledge, especially in chillers, building systems, and maintenance improvements.
  • Manages the coordination and overall integration of technical activities in the implementation of Building Systems and Technology upgrades, retrofits, and new installation projects.
  • Maintains project budget and prepare change orders throughout project when necessary for any additional work.
  • Creates and maintains project schedule utilizing MS Project, Excel, or other cloud based scheduling tools.
  • Interfaces directly with clients & stakeholders to define project requirements. Prepares project plans, project delivery resource requirements, work plan schedule and milestones.
  • Demonstrates capability to read, understand and apply standard to moderately complex construction documents, including but not limited to: agreements/contracts, project charters, bid specifications and construction drawings, quality control, risk identification and mitigation planning.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with drawings/specs.

• Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
• Capability to manage several projects of different scale simultaneously
• Must possess knowledge of MS Office suite and MS Project.
• Knowledge of computer software applications such as ASANA, or ability to quickly learn.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan and supervise assignments of lower-level employees.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management or any similar type of Bachelor's degree program preferred OR Minimum of 10 years' experience in Construction Project Management
• Minimum 4 years of related experience and/or training with specific experience in industrial or manufacturing projects preferred.
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record for applicable vehicles, without restrictions, or limiting conditions. (Corrective lenses permitted)
