Full Job Description

Position Title: Sr. Project Coordinator
Department: Project Implementation
Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 + annual bonus
Reports To: Project Director
Location: Ontario, Canada


About the Role:

The Sr. Project Coordinator will support the successful delivery of e-STORAGE’s utility-scale battery energy storage projects across Ontario. Reporting to the Project Director, this role will coordinate schedules, project documentation, procurement activities, subcontractor requirements, customer deliverables, and cross-functional communication throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will bring strong project execution experience and the ability to keep complex activities, stakeholders, and contractual requirements organized and moving forward.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project activities across Project Management, Procurement, Engineering, Construction, and other internal teams

  • Support the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, milestones, and communication documents

  • Monitor project timelines, identify critical-path activities, and follow deliverables through to completion

  • Track contractual obligations, customer requirements, non-conformances, and contract modifications

  • Prepare and communicate clear project status updates to internal and external stakeholders

  • Coordinate the flow of contract submittals, vendor documentation, project reports, invoices, customer correspondence, and other project records

  • Maintain effective communication with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal project stakeholders

  • Coordinate subcontractor activities and monitor subcontractor schedules against project requirements

  • Support Procurement with vendor commitments, supplier relationships, proposals, and contract exhibits

  • Monitor project documentation status and ensure required submissions are completed on schedule

  • Review project documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contractual requirements

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of project execution tools, trackers, and reporting processes


Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Educational background in Project Management, Engineering or a related field

  • At least five years of project coordination or project execution experience, preferably within the construction, energy, infrastructure, or renewable energy sectors

  • Experience coordinating schedules, project documentation, procurement activities, and multiple internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong understanding of project execution processes and the ability to track activities from planning through completion

  • Experience supporting contract administration, customer submittals, vendor documentation, or change management

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

  • Ability to build productive working relationships with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.

  • Knowledge of utility-scale renewable energy, battery energy storage systems, engineering principles, or construction processes is considered an asset

  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to project sites as required
