Full Job Description
Amazon is seeking a Sr. Program Manager, Merchandising & Field Branding to define and drive the overarching program strategy for Amazon Leo's merchandise function. This role owns strategic direction across the full merchandise portfolio while leading high-visibility programs that require executive-level communication and leadership review. The ideal candidate brings deep experience managing complex global vendor ecosystems, including external Field Service stakeholders worldwide, and has a proven track record of scaling programs through influence, operational rigor, and data-driven decision-making.

As the Sr. Program Manager, Merchandising & Field Branding for Leo, you will set the multi-year program strategy and own end-to-end execution accountability. This spans workflow architecture and vendor governance through leadership business reviews and global installer merch branding. You'll partner directly with Leo's leadership team and cross-functional stakeholders to define program direction, resolve ambiguity, and deliver scalable branded experiences globally.

Key job responsibilities

Program Strategy & Vision
• Define and own the multi-year program strategy for Leo merchandise, aligning with broader Amazon Leo business goals
• Establish the strategic framework, goals, and success metrics for the entire merchandise function
• Translate executive priorities into actionable program roadmaps and resource plans
• Build and continuously improve scalable systems and SOPs to support global employee, installer, and customer merchandise deliveries

Financial Management & Procurement
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms with production vendors and suppliers
• Manage procurement processes including opening and tracking purchase orders (POs)
• Own budget planning, forecasting, and ongoing budget management for all merchandise programs
• Track financial performance against budget and identify cost optimization opportunities
• Ensure compliance with Amazon's procurement and financial policies

Merch Production & Execution
• Translate creative concepts from Leo's internal creative team into production-ready specifications
• Manage approved production vendors to ensure design integrity and brand consistency
• Support development and execution of bespoke merchandise drops and special edition releases
• Manage production timelines and ensure on-time delivery of all merchandise programs
• Review product samples and prototypes, providing clear recommendations and answering questions from stakeholders

Global Vendor & Field Service Stakeholder Management
• Serve as the primary strategic relationship owner for external production vendors, suppliers, and global Field Service stakeholders who support the installer merch branding program
• Build and manage a global ecosystem of Field Service partners and vendors-establishing governance structures, SLAs, and escalation paths across multiple geographies
• Oversee quality control and brand consistency standards across all external Field Service partners executing installer merch branding in the field
• Drive issue resolution for production delays, quality failures, field execution gaps, or cross-border delivery challenges at scale

Logistics & Fulfillment
• Oversee end-to-end logistics for packaging, shipment planning, delivery workflows, and inventory management tied to demand forecasting
• Optimize Amazon's logistics platform with Leo-specific customizations for efficiency and on-time fulfillment
• Track program performance against KPIs; use data to measure quality, customer satisfaction, and cost optimization opportunities

Leadership Reviews & Governance
• Own and present business reviews for Leo senior leadership and Amazon executives, including quarterly and annual program reviews
• Synthesize performance data, risks, and recommendations into clear executive narratives; surface issues before they escalate
• Maintain program documentation, escalation frameworks, and decision logs; lead cross-functional alignment across creative, marketing, and stakeholders

Export Control Requirement:

Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
