Job SummaryThe Sr. Principal AI System Architect will lead the design and development of advanced system architectures for AI accelerators, GPUs, NPUs, and memory subsystems. This role requires deep expertise in memory technologies, hardware/software co-design, and system-level modeling. The architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions while mentoring engineers and driving innovation in AI hardware systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design system architectures for AI accelerators, GPUs, NPUs, and SoCs
- Develop memory subsystems including DRAM, DDR, LPDDR, GDDR, and NAND technologies
- Perform system-level modeling for performance and power optimization
- Collaborate on hardware/software co-design including cache hierarchies and interconnects
- Integrate interconnect technologies such as PCIe, CXL, NoCs, Ethernet, and RDMA
- Lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and manage stakeholder communication
- Document architecture specifications and contribute to IP design
Required Qualifications- 10+ years of experience in system architecture, SoC design, and memory system development
- Strong expertise in DRAM, DDR, LPDDR, GDDR, NAND memory technologies
- Experience with AI accelerators, GPUs, NPUs
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, RTL design and system-level modeling
- Hands-on experience with PCIe, CXL, NoCs, Ethernet, RDMA
- Expertise in system performance and power modeling
- Strong understanding of hardware/software co-design including memory subsystems and cache hierarchies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with in-memory and near-memory computing architectures
- Knowledge of chiplet-based and 3D integration packaging solutions
- Experience mapping AI/ML workloads to hardware architectures
- Background in technical documentation, architecture specifications, and IP design
