Full Job Description
Messer is seeking a Senior Human Resources Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and employees across our Commercial organization. In this role, you will align HR strategies with business priorities, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and deliver practical, people-focused solutions that support employee engagement, talent development, compliance, and business performance.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as a strategic HR partner to assigned Commercial business leaders, aligning people priorities with business objectives.
  • Lead and support HR initiatives that strengthen culture, improve employee engagement, attract and retain talent, and drive business performance.
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver key talent processes, including talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning, compensation planning, leadership development, and employee services.
  • Provide HR leadership and change management support for organizational realignments, restructuring activities, and other business transformation initiatives.
  • Support workforce planning and recruiting strategies to ensure current and future business needs are met, including pipeline development for recurring and critical roles.
  • Coach leaders and employees on employee relations matters, policy interpretation, performance concerns, and workplace issues.
  • Conduct and support investigations into employee complaints, assess facts objectively, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Promote compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulatory requirements, company policies, and the Code of Conduct.
  • Partner with employment and labor counsel, as needed, to help mitigate risk and support fair, consistent, and compliant HR practices.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of HR management or HR business partner experience, preferably in a manufacturing, chemical, industrial, or related environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Commercial, sales, or field-based client groups.
  • Experience in a matrixed organization with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Prior experience partnering with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver enterprise-wide HR programs and initiatives.

Additional Information
  • Regular domestic travel is required.

The salary range for this position is $117,000-$172,000. Messer provides medical, dental, vision, short term disability, life insurance and paid time off as well as other voluntary benefits, such as, long term disability in accordance with the terms and conditions of these Plans. Employees are eligible to enroll in Messer's 401(k) Plan. Employees may be eligible to participate in the company's bonus program.
