Sr. Municipal Civil Engineer/Project Manager - SE Michigan

Location: Farmington Hills, Ann Arbor, or Macomb, MI

What You'll Work On
  • Lead design and planning for water main, sanitary and storm sewer, and local road projects.
  • Prepare utility master plans, feasibility studies, and preliminary engineering reports.
  • Develop design documents and specifications for bidding.
  • Submit construction permits to regulatory agencies.
  • Manage municipal utility and roadway projects from concept to completion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and clear communication.
  • Collaborate with technical staff across Fishbeck offices to deliver integrated engineering services.
  • Support proposal development and participate in qualifications submissions.
  • Engage daily with project teams in a multi-discipline, multi-office environment.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • Registered Professional Engineer in Michigan.
  • 12+ years of experience in utility and roadway design.
  • Strong technical background in public infrastructure planning and design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Proven project management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and client engagement abilities.
  • Ability to travel to project sites and attend client meetings.
