A DAY IN THE LIFE:The Sr. Marketing Technology Strategist develops, maintains, and improves user-facing website content and functionality. This role partners across the company with regulatory, legal, privacy, IT, UX design, and other cross-functional stakeholders to create engaging, optimized web experiences. The individual will assess technical and compliance requirements, identify feasible solutions, and improve alignment, efficiency, and effectiveness across internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate has experience developing and maintaining HTML/CSS for CMS platforms; understands SEO best practices, UX and UI design, and website accessibility; and brings enthusiasm for marketing technology, complex technical projects, content strategy, website compliance, and development workflows while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
The Sr. Marketing Technology Strategist at Tandem is also responsible for
- Build and maintain user-facing website features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Provide consultative guidance to business partners and work with external partners to communicate architecture content models, website platform capabilities, taxonomies/component system, and flexibility of style sheets utilized to determine level of effort and technical feasibility based on business needs and requirements.
- Develop responsive content interfaces and test UX across browsers and devices.
- Support the technical implementation and execution of updated privacy policies, accessibility guidelines, compliance requirements, and procedure standards across marketing websites and privacy technology (Ex: cookie management).
- Provide consultative guidance to business partners and external stakeholders on content architecture, platform capabilities, taxonomies, and component systems to assess level of effort and technical feasibility based on business needs and requirements.
- Partner with IT to perform code reviews and participate in technical discussions.
- Update and maintain content across the company website ecosystem, including more than 35 website instances that support global business.
- Support website maintenance and analytics using Google applications, including Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Search Console, and related tools.
- Collaborate with marketing automation partners to manage campaigns and forms for web-based and email-based delivery, supporting optimization and continuous improvement of marketing automation systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA requirements and other legal and regulatory standards.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
WHEN & WHERE YOU'LL WORK:This position is fully remote and open to candidates within the United States. Equipment for the role will be provided and training will occur virtually.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Digital Media, Graphic Design, User Experience, or an equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience.
- At least 7 years of relevant industry experience, including experience with enterprise web content management systems.
- Preferred experience managing and publishing online marketing content for regulated products or industries, including familiarity with healthcare privacy policies and legal compliance guidelines.
- Experience managing global, multilingual systems and applications for varied user audiences, including patients, providers, and caregivers.
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS.
- Understanding of web design principles and best practices for website usability and UX/UI.
- Experience using CMS platforms, such as Contentful or similar systems.
- Experience using privacy compliance web tools, such as OneTrust, Freshpaint, or similar platforms.
- Experience using Google applications, including Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM).
- Familiarity with marketing automation systems, such as Marketo, Eloqua, or similar platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions.
- Interest in web design and development, systems architecture, and marketing technology.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of enthusiasm, self-motivation, and critical thinking ability.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The starting base pay range for this position is
$89,900-$112,250annually. Base pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may also fluctuate depending on candidate's location and the overall job market. In addition to base pay, Tandem offers a competitive compensation package that includes bonus and a robust benefits package.
