Scope of Position

This strategic and results-driven marketing leader, as part of the Marketing Communications team, is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing programs that increase brand awareness, generate demand, strengthen customer engagement, and drive growth within the Megaprojects market segment, including Data Centers, Semiconductor, EV/Battery, and other strategic commercial and industrial verticals.

The Sr. Marketing Manager, Mega Projects serves as the primary marketing leader supporting the Megaprojects business strategy and works closely with Sales, Product Management, Business Development, Training, and Marketing teams to develop and execute targeted marketing initiatives that drive customer engagement and commercial success.

The role is responsible for translating business priorities into measurable marketing programs, managing strategic campaigns, supporting key customer and industry events, and delivering insights that improve market positioning and growth performance. This role is also responsible for coordinating and aligning marketing programs with other Watts global regional marketing teams to ensure consistency in brand and message.

This position has no direct reports, but may manage external agencies, contractors, consultants, and vendors supporting marketing initiatives.

This position reports to the Director, Marketing Communications.

This role is hybrid and is based in North Andover, Massachusetts.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing plans supporting the growth objectives of the Megaprojects business and targeted industry verticals.
  • Partner with Sales, Product Management, Business Development, and Marketing leadership to align marketing priorities with commercial objectives and growth initiatives.
  • Support market research, customer analysis, competitive assessments, and industry trend evaluations to identify growth opportunities and support strategic planning.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, competitive positioning, and industry challenges across target verticals.
  • Identify and manage strategic partnerships, industry associations, and market engagement opportunities that strengthen the Watts brand and market presence.
  • Lead voice-of-customer initiatives, customer interviews, testimonial programs, and market feedback processes to support customer-centric decision making.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, events, public relations, content marketing, and customer engagement channels.
  • Support account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives designed to increase engagement and market penetration with key customers and strategic accounts.
  • Develop campaign strategies, messaging frameworks, content plans, and promotional activities aligned with business objectives and target audiences.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment globally of messaging across customer-facing communications and sales enablement activities.
  • Partner with internal marketing teams and external agencies to create impactful content and programs that drive awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Partner with Product Management and Business Development teams to support new product launches, solution introductions, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Develop launch plans, customer communications, promotional campaigns, marketing collateral, and sales enablement resources.
  • Collaborate with Training teams to develop customer education programs, field-based training content, and digital learning initiatives.
  • Support commercial teams with market insights, customer-facing content, competitive positioning, and campaign resources that improve sales effectiveness.
  • Lead marketing support for major trade shows, customer events, conferences, and industry engagements.
  • Manage event promotion strategies, customer engagement activities, booth experiences, speaking opportunities, and post-event follow-up programs.
  • Develop thought leadership content, customer success stories, case studies, articles, videos, and digital content that strengthen Watts' market presence.
  • Represent Marketing in key customer, industry, and partner-facing activities when appropriate.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities with Sales, Product Management, Operations, Business Development, Customer Service, Regional Marketing Teams, and Corporate Marketing team.
  • Partner with Watts global Regional Marketing teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging across regions.
  • Manage external agencies, creative partners, consultants, and vendors to support marketing objectives and ensure high-quality execution.
  • Prioritize resources and activities to maximize business impact and ensure successful program delivery.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics for marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, engagement metrics, lead generation activities, customer participation, and return on investment.
  • Partner with Sales and Business Development teams to assess project wins, losses, customer engagement, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaigns, improve customer engagement, and enhance marketing investment decisions.
  • Develop and present performance reports, recommendations, and strategic insights to leadership.
  • Develop and manage annual marketing budgets for assigned programs, campaigns, events, and initiatives.
  • Ensure efficient allocation of resources and achievement of marketing objectives within approved budgets.
  • Monitor expenditures and evaluate return on investment across marketing activities.
  • Assume responsibility for additional projects and duties as assigned by the Director, Marketing Communications or Company management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Marketing, Marketing Communications, Product Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Brand Marketing, Demand Generation, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading people, projects, programs, or cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive measurable business results.
  • Experience supporting B2B marketing strategies, customer engagement programs, and commercial growth initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of account-based marketing (ABM), digital marketing, customer journey development, and lead generation concepts.
  • Experience supporting product launches, commercialization efforts, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience evaluating marketing effectiveness and campaign performance.
  • Experience managing agency relationships, external vendors, and marketing budgets.
  • Proficiency with CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Data Center, Semiconductor, EV/Battery, Commercial Construction, or Industrial markets.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, or similar CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience with SEO, SEM, GEO/AEO, digital advertising, content marketing, and demand generation programs.
  • Experience developing thought leadership initiatives and industry engagement programs.
  • Experience supporting direct and channel sales organizations.
  • MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field

Working Conditions

While performing the job duties, you will be working in an office environment. You will be required to work in the office at the North Andover, MA location three days per week (Monday - Wednesday) and can work remotely two days per week (Thursday and Friday).

The expected salary range for this position is $125,000 - $142,000 yearly. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable law.
