About the role

The Sr. Manager, U.S. Policy Governance is responsible for developing U.S. policies and overseeing the Corporate Policy Governance Framework. Reporting to the Director, Compliance U.S., this role partners closely with U.S. and global stakeholders, including policy owners, the Compliance Training Team in London, and the Director of Policy Governance in Krakow.

As part of the U.S. Compliance team, this role helps advance PMI's compliance mission by enabling employees and third parties to meet legal, regulatory, and policy requirements, supporting risk assessment and monitoring activities, and promoting a strong speak-up culture.

Your day-to-day:
  • Manage the Corporate Policy Governance Framework and policy lifecycle, including creation, implementation, review, maintenance, and retirement of U.S. policies.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to deploy and operationalize policies, including coordinating compliance training.
  • Lead project management of policy approvals and alignment across U.S. and global stakeholders.
  • Draft, review, and advise on U.S. policy documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, simplicity, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Oversee ongoing policy updates to reflect business, organizational, and regulatory changes.
  • Drive continuous improvement of policy governance processes through automation and technology solutions.
  • Support Global Ethics & Compliance initiatives and special projects across a range of compliance risk areas.
  • Research and apply policy governance best practices, frameworks, and methodologies.
  • Promote a culture of ethics, compliance, transparency, and speaking up.
  • Foster a team environment grounded in integrity, respect, fairness, and inclusion


Annual Base Salary Range: $149,600 - $187,000
