Sr Manager, Process Manager- GPN
The Role:
As the Senior Manager of Network Documentation for Settlement & Disputes, you will lead a critical pillar with a dual strategic mandate: establishing a centralized function for technical specifications, while building a business case and collaborating on a roadmap to modernize these technical specifications into a dynamic, queryable, and AI-enabled ecosystem. Operating in a highly consultative capacity, you will partner closely with product teams to guide technical documentation strategy, bridge the gap between complex specifications and actionable intelligence, and ensure our documentation is designed for optimal readability and usability by external participants. You are not just writing documents; you are designing the future of how participants understand and implement technical changes in our Settlement & Disputes platforms through automated, resilient, and well-managed systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Vision & AI Transformation: Collaborate on the design and development of a use case for transforming technical specifications through AI. Partner with the GPN AI Program to integrate LLMs and agentic workflows into the documentation lifecycle. Design systems where AI tools can ingest our technical specifications to provide real-time, consultative support to internal and external partners.
- Centralization of Specification Support: Support the transition of Settlement & Disputes to a centralized function managing "documentation as code," leveraging Generative AI to automate content generation, validation, and accessibility.
- Documentation Modernization & Usability: Oversee the migration of legacy manuals to structured, AI-ready data formats. Establish centralized intake and processing standards that ensure technical specifications are architected for high readability, clarity, and seamless usability by external network participants, with automated validation to maintain accuracy.
- Network Policy Partnership: Partner closely with the Network Policy team to ensure seamless alignment between evolving business regulations and our technical documentation. Act as a stakeholder in translating modernized rules into queryable, AI-ready technical standards.
- Consultative Product Partnership & Leadership: Serve as a strategic consultant to product teams to shape overall technical documentation strategy. Drive organizational alignment, ensuring our centralized documentation model directly supports broader Network Product & Platforms (NPP) objectives and long-term Transaction Processing goals.
- Consultative AI Integration: Partner with the Network Policy team to test, develop and deploy AI-driven interfaces that allow developers and stakeholders to "chat with our docs," reducing the friction of finding technical answers and speeding up time-to-market for new initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Foster a culture of technical excellence, process optimization, and AI literacy. Enable team members to act as strategic consultants for the broader organization.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
