Full Job Description
We're hiring a Senior Manager of FP&A for a large construction services company in the AI space based in Diamond Bar, CA.
This newly created role offers the opportunity to build the FP&A function from the ground up and support significant growth driven by data center construction demand.
Key responsibilities:
• Build and improve budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Lead variance analysis and deliver insights into project performance, profitability, and costs.
• Develop cash flow and working capital forecasts across a complex, project-based business.
• Create financial models and dashboards to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Partner with leadership and operating teams to translate business activity into actionable financial insights.
• Improve reporting through automation and better use of financial systems.
What we're looking for:
• Construction or project-based finance experience required.
• Strong understanding of WIP, billings, deferred revenue, and how project costs flow through financial statements.
• Experience building FP&A processes, including variance analysis, cash forecasting, and month-end analysis.
• Ability to navigate complex project economics and uneven revenue and cost timing.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and communication skills.
Data center construction experience and familiarity with Microsoft Business Central, Power BI, or Solver are a plus.
Compensation: $180K-$200K base + 10-20% bonus + equity
This role is onsite five days per week.
