Position Summary

The Senior Manager, HR Excellence & Operations is responsible for leading the execution, administration, and continuous improvement of talent and HR processes across a portfolio of business units. This role serves as a key partner to HR and business leaders by driving operational excellence in leadership development, talent management, integrations, training deployment, talent mobility, and HR systems optimization.

This position will focus on building scalable processes, ensuring consistent execution across business units, ensuring data quality to drive decision-making, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the employee lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-oriented, data-driven, and passionate about creating sustainable HR solutions that improve business and talent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Talent & Leadership Development Programs
  • Lead the execution and administration of the Platform Talent Development Program
  • Coordinate participant selection, assessments, communications, development activities, progress reviews, and reporting.
  • Track program effectiveness and recommend improvements to increase participant engagement and business impact.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to ensure successful execution of talent development initiatives.

Talent Management & Internal Mobility
  • Support talent review and succession planning processes across operating companies.
  • Coordinate talent-exporting and internal mobility efforts to facilitate development opportunities and strengthen organizational capability.
  • Maintain visibility of talent pipelines and development plans.
  • Provide reporting and insights related to talent movement, succession readiness, and bench strength.

M&A
  • Lead the execution of HR integration activities associated with acquisitions and organizational transitions.
  • Coordinate onboarding of acquired organizations into platform talent processes, systems, and leadership programs.
  • Develop and maintain integration playbooks, templates, and tracking mechanisms.
  • Monitor integration progress and identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization.

IDEX Operating Model Training Deployment
  • Coordinate deployment and administration of IDEX Operating Model training across the platform.
  • Manage training schedules, enrollment, participation tracking, communications, and reporting.
  • Partner with leaders to drive completion and reinforce adoption of operating model principles.
  • Continuously improve training processes, materials, and participant experiences.


HR Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency across HR processes.
  • Apply LEAN methodologies to streamline and standardize processes, including:
    • Frontline recruiting
    • New hire onboarding
    • Leadership development
    • Succession planning activities
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, process maps, templates, and governance documentation.
  • Establish metrics and dashboards to monitor process effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.

Workday Data Quality & Optimization
  • Serve as the platform lead for talent-related Workday data quality initiatives.
  • Conduct audits and monitor compliance with data governance standards.
  • Drive process discipline and system utilization to improve accuracy, consistency, and reporting reliability.
  • Partner with HR teams to identify and implement Workday process improvements.
  • Support reporting and analytics necessary to monitor talent processes and program effectiveness.


Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR, talent management, talent operations, HR operations, organizational development, or related experience.
  • Experience managing enterprise or multi-site talent and leadership development initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience leading process improvement and standardization efforts.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms, preferably Workday.
  • Strong project management and program management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple levels of the organization.

Preferred
  • Experience supporting critical organizational change initiatives.
  • LEAN, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement training
  • Experience developing dashboards, metrics, and HR analytics.
  • Experience working within a decentralized or multi-business operating environment.


Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $99,800.00 - $149,600.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
