BASIC PURPOSE
The Flywheel Program Leader is a critical enabler of the Mars Snacking Growth Philosophy, operationalizing the Ehrenberg Bass principles through the Flywheel tool across the top 15 strategic markets (and others as prioritized). The Flywheel is the essential framework to deliver annual business reviews and strategic alignment for quality growth.
This role is responsible for developing, improving, and executing the Flywheel framework, facilitating cross-functional Demand teams to make evidence-based decisions, set priorities, and align on growth strategies.
The leader acts as a neutral facilitator, delivering provocations and benchmarking insights to challenge and inspire local units.
Additionally, the Flywheel Program Leader serves as a facilitator for the Growth Legacy program, leveraging data and insights to provoke quality growth discussions with leadership teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Flywheel Program Development, Alignment, and Execution (70%)
Lead the annual deployment and continuous improvement of the Flywheel framework in the top 15 markets and other units as per strategic priorities.
Facilitate working sessions with local and regional Demand leaders (CMO, Marketing Directors, Human Insights, Sales, Finance) to drive excellence in decision-making and strategic alignment.
Benchmark business results across units landing provocations and insights to inspire quality growth.
Develop and evolve the Flywheel framework, including the implementation of new metrics and the Why Why Why analysis, ensuring rapid translation into digital tools for instant access and usability.
Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders across Mars and Kellanova, fostering collaboration and openness to challenge.
Keep close loop to cross segment Flywheel leaders in Pet and Food, targeting to keep one Flywheel philosophy across units.
2. Facilitation & Provocation in Growth Legacy (20%)
Serve as a facilitator in local Growth Legacy sessions, leveraging existing data and insights to provoke leadership teams and drive quality growth choices.
Deliver clear, actionable messages to diverse audiences, translating complex data into simple, impactful insights that trigger strategic actions.
Enable cross-functional teams to confront brutal realities, make trade-off decisions, and align strategies for sustainable growth.
3. Continuous Improvement & Digital Transformation (10%)
Lead ongoing development and improvement of the Flywheel framework, including digital transformation to ensure all Flywheel tools are accessible and actionable in real-time.
Identify and land insights as provocations, challenging local teams to think differently and adopt best-in-class growth behaviors.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Minimum 10 years' experience in Mars or Kellanova, with deep knowledge of Growth Philosophy and Flywheel or equivalent frameworks; alternatively, experience with similar growth frameworks rooted in Ehrenberg Bass principles.
Proven track record in facilitating cross-functional teams and driving strategic alignment in local, regional, and global contexts.
Strong experience in operationalizing growth frameworks, benchmarking, and landing insights as provocations.
Experience across multiple markets (global experience advantageous; local market experience required).
Digital experience beneficial but not mandatory.
High credibility, trust, and personal gravitas; able to challenge senior leadership teams constructively.
DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
