Full Job Description
Job Summary:

The function of the Tim Hortons US Sr. Manager, Business Development is to source and conduct due diligence on perspective new franchisees with the goal of signing multi-year development agreements. Key responsibilities include vetting potential franchisees, managing a large pipeline of prospects, and negotiating development agreements with a goal of signing a record number of new development agreements.

RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Successful candidates will be expected to work onsite 5 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and conduct thorough due diligence on perspective franchisees; manage relationships through deal lifecycle until closing


  • Lead pipeline management, negotiation, and execution of development agreements with high quality franchise partners


  • Actively market the growth opportunities to attract top-tier franchise candidates and drive brand growth


  • Partner cross-functionally with Development, Market Planning, Franchising and Field teams to gather necessary insights to drive negotiations


  • Prepare and deliver presentations to internal stakeholders and executive level leadership on bi-weekly or monthly cadence


  • Collaborate with business leaders to define and execute long-terms development and expansion strategy for the Tim Hortons brand


  • Plan and host quarterly Discovery Days to onboard recently signed franchisees
