Skills Requirements: -Proven senior-level technical and application development knowledge of IBM Mainframe applications with extensive programming experience using JCL, DB2, REXX, Control-M, Dialog Manager, XML Parsing in COBOL, COBOL (CICS and DB2), CICS MRO, DPL, MQ Series, and VSAM. -Proven Project Management skills. Ability to lead small teams. -Proven experience with analysis, documentation, development, testing, and implementation. -Senior-level DB2 (SQL) programming experience to enable analysis of code written by others. -Excellent customer relations, and verbal and written skills. -Self-starter, highly motivated individual; team player who can adapt to changes in customer requirements. -Experience in IBM z/OS (OS/390/MVS) application development, production control, and job scheduling. -Experience developing and maintaining JCL and related entities for application software systems. -Experience in industry accepted SDLC practices. Education/Work Experience: BA/BS degree + 11 years of IT experience at various levels of Mainframe DB2 DBA and performance and tuning activities. Details: Interview: Phone first, Skype and/or may want to do a face to face. Prefer candidates within driving distance of work site. Visa status: Any visa status will work. Location: Woodlawn section in Baltimore county, Baltimore, MD. Duration: These are long term contracts and can go as long as the LM contract with SSA. Federal contracts are usually seven years. Minimum experience and education: Candidates must have a BS degree with a minimum of 11 years work experience or 132 months of work experience or nine years (108 months) with a MS degree. If no degree, work experience may be substituted.
