Overall Purpose

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Sr. Lead Business Intelligence Developer who can translate complex workforce data into compelling, actionable insights. This role is ideal for someone who not only understands data but can tell a clear and impactful story with it to influence business decisions.

You will partner closely with HR, Finance, and business leaders to design, develop, and deliver data-driven insights that improve workforce strategy, operational efficiency, and employee experience.

Essential Functions
  • Analyze HR and workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the employee lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations in Tableau to support executive decision-making
  • Extract, transform, and analyze data using SQL across multiple systems and data sources
  • Translate complex datasets into clear narratives and presentations for non-technical stakeholders
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to define key metrics, KPIs, and reporting frameworks
  • Support and enhance HR data architecture, ensuring alignment with data warehousing best practices
  • Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and reporting capabilities
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance across HR systems


Required Qualifications
  • Typically, a minimum of 12+ years of progressive related experience.
  • 7+ years of experience with Tableau (dashboard design, data modeling, and storytelling)
  • 5+ years of experience SQL development and data wrangling
  • 2+ years of experience Workday or equivalent HCM tool reporting and data analysis
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (data modeling, ETL processes, data structures)
  • Demonstrated ability to tell a compelling story with data and influence stakeholders
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Background and drug screen


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Workday
  • Experience with Snowflake or other modern cloud data platforms
  • Background in Human Resources analytics (e.g., workforce planning, attrition, talent acquisition)
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry
  • Familiarity with HR data governance, compliance, and privacy standards


Physical Requirements

Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers. Employee must be able to perform essential functions and physical requirements of position with or without reasonable accommodation.

The base pay scale for this position in:
Phoenix, AZ in USD per year is: $129,000 - $161,000.

Additionally, candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits.
