Full Job Description
Overview
We run a number of business tool apps that help people at all stages of their business with various services and tools. From domains, phones, emails, business entity maintenance, business licenses, mail received on their behalf, etc. It's complex and we service millions of users. We run a second phone line app mostly for businesses but we fancy ourselves as the most private, encrypted way to send messages and do phone calls that exists. Think Whats App and Google Voice, but without it being free so the big evil corporations can get your meta data. Running a second phone line and keeping our users communications as private as possible on hardware that is meant to not provide any privacy to the user on infrastructure and telecommunications that are meant to not provide any privacy to the users is our largest challenge. But it's a war we firmly believe in.
We're on the hunt for a Senior iOS Developer who writes slick code and brings bold ideas to the table-someone who loves asking "what if we did it this way instead?" In this role, you'll shake things up (in a good way), introducing new tools, smarter workflows, and creative solutions that level up the entire team. You're constantly sharpening your craft-whether through passion projects, experimenting with new frameworks, or pushing boundaries in your day-to-day work-and you bring those learnings back to elevate everyone around you. You'll help us spot opportunities for improvement, rethink how we build, and keep our iOS app fresh and forward-thinking while mentoring others along the way. If you get a little thrill from improving everything around you, you'll fit right in.
Wage
Up to $150,000 / year
Benefits
100% employer-paid medical, dental & vision Full coverage for employees - nothing comes out of your paycheck. Plus an annual review with a raise option.
Time off that grows with you 22 days PTO + 4 holidays to start. After 3 years it bumps to 29 days, and after 5 years you move to flexible time off - not accrued, not capped. Take time off when you want.
Parental leave & 401(k) match Paid parental leave, plus up to 6% company 401(k) matching with no vesting period - it's yours from day one.
Quarterly allowance Spend it on whatever makes work better: a comfier remote setup, continuing-education classes, a plant for your desk, coffee for a coworker, a massage for yourself... really, whatever.
No dumb perks (and a trail mix bar) No weekend dog-walking gimmicks that look cool but cost nothing because nobody uses them. We spend on benefits you'll actually use - an open-concept office, friendly coworkers, a creative environment, and yeah... a trail mix bar.
