We are seeking an experienced Sr. Interventional Radiological Technologist.This position will be supporting both Body and Neuro IR at our SF Parnassus campus.Must be available to work Monday to Friday with call duties (50% pay) on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.Call duties will be after.
The Senior IR Technologist advanced responsibilities can include, yet are not limited to the following:
- Demonstrate competency actively and participate in the lead/coordinator role.
- Active participation in an annual performance improvement project or active participation in IR
- Quality Assurance/Radiation Safety meetings.
- Demonstrate competency and the ability to instruct one or more of the advanced procedures.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3-6 years of IR experience.
Previous experience in healthcare environment required (minimum 3-5 years).
Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school.
Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays.
Must be willing to assist at any of the UCSF Medical Center Locations
Must be willing to learn and train in Neuro-IR and Body-IR
Must be willing to circulate and fill scrubbing roles during procedures as necessary
Ability to self direct and organize a varied workload
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
ARRT Licensure, CRT Licensure, BLS (CPR) Certification,VIR Certification within 1 year of hire

Prefer recent work experience in an acute care setting
Prefer VIR Certification or obtained within 1 year of hire
