Position PurposeThe Senior Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the administration, support, optimization, and continuous improvement of JCB's IT infrastructure environment. This role serves as a technical expert across multiple infrastructure disciplines, ensuring the reliability, security, performance, and scalability of critical systems while supporting strategic business initiatives and providing advanced technical leadership.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities- Administer and support Microsoft Windows Server and Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Manage Microsoft Active Directory environments, including Group Policy administration.
- Administer and maintain virtualized infrastructure platforms, including VMware and Hyper-V.
- Configure, manage, and support enterprise storage solutions and disk storage environments.
- Administer and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring data integrity and business continuity.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure performance across servers, storage, networking, and cloud environments.
- Provide technical leadership and infrastructure expertise for business and IT projects.
- Support and maintain network infrastructure, including Cisco Meraki network administration.
- Create, maintain, and update infrastructure architecture documentation, diagrams, standards, and operating procedures.
- Provide Tier III support for critical incidents, including participation in on-call support rotations and after-hours escalations.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure service and support expectations are met.
- Support MDF/IDF environments, including racking, stacking, hardware installations, inventory management, and environmental monitoring.

Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure environments.
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing data center, MDF/IDF, and infrastructure hardware environments.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration.
- Advanced experience supporting virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Strong understanding of networking, storage, backup, and disaster recovery technologies.
- Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.
Preferred Qualifications- Technical certifications in Microsoft, VMware, Azure, AWS, Cisco, NetApp, or related infrastructure technologies.
- Experience managing enterprise cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
- Experience supporting SAP infrastructure environments.
- Experience with Cohesity, Rubrik, or similar appliance-based backup technologies.
- Experience administering Cisco Call Manager, Cisco WebEx, or VoIP technologies.
