About this Position / ResponsibilitiesNFF Inc. is seeking staff augmentation resources for software development tasks that span the full operational scope of Metro. These contract positions support the development of applications in Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Azure, focused on process improvement for mission-critical processes, including public-facing service applications.
The engagement seeks professionals with demonstrated experience in the design, deployment, enhancement, and support of highly available, mission-critical applications serving public-facing and internal business functions, primarily on Microsoft Azure and Power Platform. Candidates must have expertise in the tools, governance frameworks, security practices, and delivery methodologies commonly employed by large enterprises to develop, integrate, and maintain complex business applications.
The initial scope includes enhancement, optimization, and enterprise integration of a public-facing notification platform that requires additional integration with key enterprise systems. Services may include data architecture and design, application development to support new business processes, refinement and automation of existing processes, enterprise system integrations, UX/UI improvements, accessibility enhancements, quality assurance, performance optimization, and scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer engagement.
- The Sr. Full Stack Developer needs to be able to take solutions from idea or concept to production-level applications.
- The Sr. Full Stack Developer should be able to map enterprise applications and integrations, and needs to be able to dissect an application and determine the best way to introduce new functions and features into an existing application without diminishing the core functionality of that application.
- This role is not limited to design only, but will spend the majority of time in the development of applications.
- There is a clear expectation for team collaboration and the use of the Agile methodology.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or a combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent level of competency.
Qualifications- 5 years | Required - Hands-on and technical leadership experience: 5-7 years of hands-on experience, including tech-lead experience.
- 5 years | Required - Back end: Deep .NET Core or Node.js on Azure; microservices/modular architecture; REST API design and data-integration patterns.
- 5 years | Required - Front end: React or Angular for enterprise, responsive UIs.
- 5 years | Required - Cloud & DevOps: AKS/Kubernetes, Azure Container Apps, Azure Storage, Key Vault; CI/CD pipelines for secure, scalable delivery.
- 5 years | Required - Network & Security: Azure Virtual Network (VNet) design and architecture, network segmentation and subnet design, Azure Front Door, Application Gate
- 5 years | Required - Data: Relational (SQL) and NoSQL database design, document modeling and denormalized data structures, Azure SQL Database/SQL Managed Instance, Azure
- 5 years | Required - Leadership: Solution design, system integration, and cross-functional coordination aligning business, operational, and technical priorities.
- 12 years | Required - Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or a combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent level of competency.
- Desired - Advanced education: Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
