Senior FP&A Analyst - Logistics & Fresh Delivery serves as a strategic finance partner to Logistics, Production, Operations, and Fresh Delivery leadership. This role owns financial planning, forecasting, and advanced analysis for the end-to-end distribution of freshly made doughnuts from production facilities to fresh shops and fresh delivery locations. The Senior Analyst provides forward-looking insights, evaluates trade-offs between cost, service, and freshness, and influences operational decisions that support profitable and scalable growth.
A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:Financial Planning & Ownership- Own budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans for fresh logistics and fresh delivery operations
- Lead monthly forecasting and close support, including complex accruals and variance explanations
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models for route optimization, capacity planning, delivery frequency, and volume scenarios
- Perform sensitivity and scenario analyses to support strategic decisions and growth initiatives
Logistics & Fresh Delivery Business Support- Act as a trusted finance advisor to Logistics, Production, Operations, and Fresh Delivery leaders
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities tied to distribution economics, service levels, and capacity constraints
- Influence decisions around delivery models, fleet strategy, route density, and network expansion
- Support financial evaluation of fresh delivery expansion and operational pilots
- Lead cost-to-serve and unit economics analysis for fresh shops and fresh delivery locations
- Analyze route economics, including labor productivity, fuel, maintenance, and third-party delivery costs
Reporting, Insights & Communication- Deliver clear, executive-ready reporting and insights to senior leadership
- Develop and refine KPIs such as cost per route, cost per delivery, cost per dozen, fulfillment margin, and delivery efficiency
- Translate complex operational and financial data into concise recommendations and decision-ready narratives
Process Improvement & Leadership- Improve forecasting methodologies, cost allocation, and reporting processes across fresh logistics and fresh delivery
- Partner with systems and data teams to enhance visibility into route-level and location-level economics
- Lead or support cross-functional initiatives with significant financial impact
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, or analytical roles
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
- Expert-level Excel; experience with BI tools and large datasets
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels
- Experience in fresh food, QSR, bakery, or other time-sensitive distribution environments preferred
- Experience supporting route-based distribution, last-mile delivery, or company-owned fleets a plus
- ERP and operational systems experience
- Strategic thinker with strong execution skills
- Confident business partner who can challenge assumptions constructively
- Highly organized with the ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities
- Results-oriented mindset with attention to detail
