Full Job Description
Super Products is currently accepting applications to fill the position of Senior Financial Accountant at our location in Mukwonago, WI. This role supports the Controller and VP of Rental by leading month-end close activities, financial reporting, budget and variance analysis, fleet and lease accounting, and internal controls to ensure the financial performance and compliance of Super Products' rental operations.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Controller, actively participates in the month end close process, pulling reports and schedules, and preparing rental income accrual entries and reconciling rental balance sheet accounts. Under the direction of the Vice President of Rental prepares reports which summarize sales and rental activity, fleet management and utilization, analyzes monthly results of sales business units, explain variances from budget, monitor expenses for compliance to budgets.

Essential Functions of the Job:
  • Guide financial decisions, protect assets, and maintain financial security by monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures and enforcing internal controls
  • Support the month-end close process by preparing complete financial statements, compiling all relevant supporting schedules and documentation, and performing detailed analytical reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Oversee the administration of business and fleet licensing, including renewals and regulatory compliance; manage associated tax obligations; and administer lease agreements for rental store locations.
  • Calculate and process quarterly rental commission payouts, including validation of underlying data, application of commission structures, and preparation of supporting documentation for review and disbursement.
  • Monitor and control operating expenses against budget by aggregating and analyzing cost data, identifying variances, and recommending corrective actions to ensure alignment with financial targets.
  • Manage and execute the process for transitioning finished goods units into the rental fleet, including consolidation of truck inventory, status reclassification, and coordination with operations to ensure accurate asset tracking and readiness for deployment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from regulatory agencies. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to company employees and management.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid, well thought and supported conclusions.
  • Establishes credibility and trust easily. Respects confidentiality and ethical standards of the position. Able to multi-task with the ability to take on additional project assignments without sacrificing accuracy and timeliness of foundation.
  • Exceptional computer skills with a command of all software programs used by the organization (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and JDE).

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting.
  • 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • CPA/CMA preferred.
