Responsibilities

Job Summary: As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will perform research work and prepare financial analysis necessary to make essential Corporate planning decisions.Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

 

Analytics:

  • Designs and develops analysis processes focused on providing a financial solution
  • Performs highly complex analysis of information used to make decisions on implementation of strategic programs and changes
  • Evaluates / scorecards innovative, strategic programs to measure effectiveness
  • Collect, organize, and analyze complex environmental, health, and safety metrics to identify trends, hazards, leading indicators of risks, or areas of concern
  • Reports periodic actuals and forecasts, including but not limited to: capital and expense spend, KPIs, compliance data, incident rates, training completion, which could involve trend analysis, economic research (macro / micro), and comparative analysis
  • Presents safety data insights to leadership

 

Advising:

  • Acts as consultant on P&A programs, processes, policies

 

Project Management:

  • Develops and implements performance improvement strategies, evaluates ongoing project performance
  • Participates in cross-departmental projects
  • Leads cross-functional special projects as necessary

  • Working knowledge of retail accounting-finance principles related to developing forecasting / budgeting / decision models
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced level facilitation and project management skills
  • Advanced PC skills
  • Ability to effectively work / communicate with all levels of management and Partners
  • Ability to work complex issues with senior management using highly-developed influencing skills
  • Ability to manage large-scale projects from conception to implementation
  • Ability to produce work that impacts management decisions and business results
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with little supervision
  • Self-directed; motivated to get results independently
  • Strong attention to detail

Education:

  • A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience

Licenses/Certifications:

  • CPA
  • CMA

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

  • Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment
  • Travel by car or airplane with overnight stays
  • Sit for extended periods of time
  • Work extended hours
