EQT is seeking an experienced Process Engineer - Midstream Facilities to provide process engineering expertise in support of natural gas gathering, compression, dehydration, liquids handling, and related midstream infrastructure. This position will play a key role in the design, optimization, troubleshooting, and expansion of midstream facilities, working closely with Facilities Engineering, Operations, Construction, Automation, Project Management, Commercial, and other technical teams.
The Sr/Expert/Advisor Process Engineer - Midstream Facilities responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Provide process engineering support for the design, expansion, optimization, and troubleshooting of natural gas gathering, dehydration, compression, stabilization and NGL liquification facilities.
• Develop and maintain process simulations using ProMax and HYSYS (experience with Symmetry is a plus), and other applicable engineering tools.
• Perform heat and material balances, phase-equilibrium studies, pipeline and facility hydraulic analysis, equipment sizing, , and process optimization studies.
• Evaluate gas compositions and operating conditions to predict hydrocarbon condensation, water dropout, hydrate formation, hydrocarbon and water dew points, and liquids production throughout the gathering system.
• Provide technical expertise for NGL and condensate systems.
• Design and evaluate liquids systems, including separation, storage, stabilization, pumping, vapor management, pressure control, and truck loading/unloading.
