Senior eDiscovery Consultant who is a Relativity Certified Administrator and/or has Generative AI experience. The selected candidate is responsible for overseeing and delivering high quality eDiscovery projects. Serving as a trusted advisor to our clients, the Senior eDiscovery Consultant provides strategic guidance in the identification, collection, preservation, and analysis of electronic data for legal and regulatory matters. This role leads project teams, demonstrates effective project management, coordinates team resources, assists with project related tasks, and ensures a high level of client service.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:- Acts as primary point of contact to internal and external clients for eDiscovery consultation. Advises regarding eDiscovery services and data management activities including, but not limited to, data collection, volume reduction services, data processing, hosted production workflows, data analytics, and document review.
- Develops a firm understanding of client's technical requirements and objectives, documenting project specifications and requirements, and translating those needs to a team of internal technical staff.
- Provides project scope and estimates to client and ensures adequate staffing and resources requirements to achieve project goals and timelines.
- Delegates appropriate workflow tasks, including data management, data processing, and productions or other required work product.
- Implements project-specific quality control processes and oversees quality control of all out going work product.
- Collaborates with the Manager of Managed Review Services in analyzing review quality control statistics, team productivity, and project budget goals. Provides feedback on review team work product, productivity levels, and adherence to best practice standards.
- Understands the downstream impact of various options during collection, processing, review, and production.
- Mitigates risks to timeline or deliverables and set realistic expectations with internal project teams, external clients, and any third-party providers.
- Identifies project issues and seeks appropriate resolutions with technology team, software experts, or other available resources. Keeps client and case teams updated on potential issues and possible resolutions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree required. Juris Doctorate degree preferred with licensure to practice in any state.
- 6 years' experience in eDiscovery project management or litigation document Review.
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE- Advanced knowledge of Relativity e-Discovery software, including advanced experience with structured analytics, active learning or technology-assisted review (TAR), and exposure to Relativity aiR products.
- Up to date expertise on eDiscovery management trends including technology assisted review, generative AI, predictive coding and understanding of impact of recent case law on project management processes.
- Strong project management experience with on-time deliverables, problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail.
- Extensive knowledge of the concepts, principles, management, and processing of electronically stored information (ESI) as they relate to legal matters, including the use of various ESI management tools and applications.
The expected salary range for this role is $98,500 - $149,800. Beyond an employment candidate's physical location, salary offers may be based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, training and/or experience.
