Clearance: Secret with Top Secret eligibilityHours: M-F 7:00AM-3:30PM Foxhole Technology is seeking an experienced Senior Network Administrator to join our growing team . This position will be part of a high-performing team supporting the design, maintenance, and security of enterprise network systems.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure using Juniper and Cisco hardware.
- Design and maintain complex network routing and switching environments, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and Layer 2/3 configurations.
- Implement and support VMware-based virtual networking environments and integrated services.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Palo Alto firewalls in compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of network systems across multiple enclaves.
- Apply best practices from the ITIL framework to manage IT services and assets (ITSM/ITAM).
- Analyze hardware, software, and networking needs to support system development and integration efforts.
- Perform site surveys and collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements, data sources, and system specifications.
- Conduct validation testing and develop documentation to support operations and compliance. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure alignment with DoD, RMF, and STIG standards.
- Support Tier II/III troubleshooting efforts, network diagnostics, and incident response tasks.
- Maintain detailed configuration documentation and network diagrams.
Minimum Requirements- Minimum Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance with Eligibility for TS
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience as a Network Administrator
- Hands-on experience with: Juniper and Cisco networking equipment, Routing protocols: BGP and OSPF, Switching, VLAN design, and configuration, VMware networking components, firewall administration and rule management
- Solid understanding of network segmentation, security zones, and access control
- Familiarity with DoD network compliance standards, including RMF, STIGs, and NIST 800-53
- Must have a current DoD 8140 (8570) IAT Level II approved certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+ CE)
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities with Government and cross-functional teams
