Job DescriptionJob Summary:This role is responsible for end-to-end operational leadership across manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, supply chain, planning, logistics, and New Product Introduction (NPI) functions for the Wilsonville, Oregon (Portland) site. The position has direct ownership of site performance, including cost, delivery, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring the site operates efficiently and scales to meet business demand. This position will lead a team of approximately 80 employees and hold the duties of Site Lead.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:- Full ownership of site operational performance, including revenue execution, margin, cost control, and production throughput
- Direct leadership of cross-functional teams, including Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Facilities, and Production Planning
- Lead enterprise-wide risk management and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles
- Align production and build plans with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) demand forecasts and Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes
- Responsible for oversight and coordination of the Wilsonville site, including Facilities Management, Safety & Security, and Facility Security Officer (FSO) functions, while serving as the Environmental, Health & Safety Officer (EHSO) and leading several critical Business Operations initiatives.
- Own site budgeting and capital planning
- Advance business tools, systems, and processes, including leading artificial intelligence (AI) driven operational improvement initiatives
- Lead workforce planning, staffing, and organizational capability development to support growth and scalability
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, export control regulations, and corporate policies
- Play a key role in driving efforts to create a positive and inclusive work environment and culture across the site.
Job Qualifications:- 10-15+ years of experience in operations leadership within manufacturing, defense, or aerospace environments
- Proven experience leading multi-functional teams across operations
- Strong background in Lean Manufacturing and Toyota Production System (TPS) methodologies focused on waste reduction and efficiency improvement
- Experience managing New Product Introduction (NPI), supply chain risk, and scaling production from development to full manufacturing
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational performance, cost reduction, and process optimization initiatives
