Job Description:Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a
Sr. Director, Head of Global Process Management. The role is based in Titusville, NJ.
Position SummaryReporting to the Vice President, Quality Systems, Innovative Medicine Quality, this role will lead accountability for establishing, implementing, and sustaining globally consistent end-to-end Quality processes across corrective and preventive action (CAPA), deviations and non-compliance, change control, Quality Risk Management, training, and related digital platforms. Reporting to the Vice President, Quality Systems, this leader translates enterprise Quality strategy into integrated process standards, governance, performance measures, and improvement roadmaps that strengthen compliance, operational effectiveness, and business outcomes.
This role provides enterprise leadership for process design, governance, digital enablement, and continuous improvement. The Head of Global Process Management partners with Quality, Manufacturing, Research & Development, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Digital/IT teams across the global network to establish clear ownership and decision rights, identify systemic risks and improvement opportunities, recommend priorities and solutions to senior leadership, and drive consistent adoption while accommodating justified business and regulatory requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Head of Global Process Management will lead the design, governance, digital enablement, and continuous improvement of global Quality processes, including CAPA, deviations and non-compliance, change control, Quality Risk Management, training, and Quality Management Systems. This leader will translate enterprise strategy and regulatory requirements into clear standards and performance measures, use data to identify risks and improvement opportunities, support audits and inspections, and partner across Quality, Manufacturing, Research & Development, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Digital/IT to drive consistent adoption and business outcomes.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, engineering, pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline.
- At least 12 years of progressive experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, or another highly regulated industry, including significant experience leading global Quality processes or systems.
- At least 7 years of people management experience, including leadership of global teams.
- Deep knowledge of Good Practice requirements, including Good Manufacturing Practice, Good Clinical Practice, and Good Laboratory Practice, as well as global regulatory expectations.
- Expertise in Quality Management Systems, including CAPA, deviations and non-compliance, change control, investigations, document management, and training.
- Strong understanding of Quality Risk Management and industry practices in end-to-end Quality process design.
- Experience with electronic Quality Management System platforms and digital workflow configuration.
- Knowledge of data integrity, global data standards, metadata management, and audit-trail requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to translate multi-year strategy into prioritized roadmaps, governance, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
- Proven ability to lead process mapping, simplification, standardization, and control across complex global networks.
- Strong analytical judgment, change leadership, executive communication, and stakeholder-influence skills.
- Ability to lead effectively in a matrixed global environment and balance enterprise consistency with business, functional, regional, and regulatory needs.
Preferred Qualifications- Advanced degree such as a master's degree, MBA, doctorate, PharmD, or equivalent.
- Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methods.
- Familiarity with emerging digital Quality capabilities, including automation, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
- Experience building global process-owner communities and strengthening organizational capability.
Leadership Expectations- Operate with significant independence within approved strategy, policies, budgets, and decision rights.
- Shape business requirements and investment recommendations for digital Quality platforms.
- Provide clear performance, risk, and escalation reporting to senior leadership.
- Build alignment and accountability across functions and regions through influence, transparent governance, and effective stakeholder management.
- Lead, coach, and develop employees and global networks while fostering an inclusive and high-performing environment.
Key Working RelationshipsInternal: Quality, Manufacturing, Research & Development, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Digital/IT, site leaders, process owners, system owners, and senior governance bodies.
External: Regulatory authorities, auditors, industry groups, technology vendors, and external partners, as appropriate.
Travel: This role requires approximately 20%-30% domestic and international travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :$178,000.00 - $307,050.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation -120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave - 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave - 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off - 80 hours per calendar year
