About the Role

Are you ready to make a significant impact and gain high visibility within a leading asset management firm? Our Parter Compensation Team is looking for a Senior Compensation Analyst to support our executive compensation programs and projects. This role has the potential for high visibility within the firm and requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and analytical skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Primary duties include reporting and analyzing compensation data, undertaking market data analysis, offer review, transfer review, and compensation cycle support.

  • Advise on compensation levels for new hire offers by conducting thorough analyses to ensure they are both competitive and fair.

  • Participate in firm-wide compensation competitive analysis.  Activities include participating in third party surveys, undertaking analysis, interpretation and reporting of external and internal benchmarking.

  • Provide support for the Mid-Year and Year-End compensation review processes.  

  • Provide support for other compensation related projects including regulatory projects, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations through detailed compensation analysis and reporting.

  • Create and maintain compensation tools, resources, and frameworks.

  • Performs other duties as needed in support of department goals.

QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate is likely to have the following skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience

  • Comfortable working in a broad role and undertaking a variety of activities

  • Workday and Microsoft Excel proficiency and proven data analysis and presentation experience

  • Demonstrated problem skills, willingness to make recommendations and exercise initiative

  • Client service focus and strong relationship management skills; notable responsiveness and a “can-do” attitude

  • Project management experience

  • High attention to detail and value placed on accuracy

  • Collaborative orientation; team player

  • Appreciation for confidentiality and demonstrated discretion

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required

The base salary range for this position is:

USD 90,000 - 180,000

This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process. 

Base salary is only one component of Wellington’s total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
