SR Civil/Structural Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, licensed as a Professional Engineer in Texas
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in utilities and infrastructure
• Strong analytical skills with effective communication abilities
• Knowledge of substation grading, drainage, and structural design
• Proficiency in RISA 3D, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Civil 3D
• Proven leadership experience in engineering team settings

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering efforts for multiple projects concurrently
• Complete site development, grading, and drainage designs for substation and infrastructure
• Produce structural design documents for substations and infrastructure
• Coordinate work across all engineering disciplines and with project managers
• Contribute to project schedule initiation and ongoing maintenance
• Estimate man hours and equipment needs for project proposals
• Implement procedures to enhance departmental efficiency
