Sr. Category Sourcing Manager - Data Center
Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Sr. Category Sourcing Manager - Data Center to join our Data Center Supply Chain Procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing mission-critical data center equipment, leading end-to-end competitive sourcing events (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs), and supporting large-scale construction programs. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to develop regional and global category strategies that align with business objectives for cost savings, lead time reduction, quality, and risk mitigation. What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
Lead Strategic Sourcing & RFx Events: Plan, execute, and manage competitive sourcing events (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs) supporting mission-critical data center construction and expansion projects.
Drive Category Strategy & Workflows: Develop, implement, and continuously improve regional and global category sourcing strategies while creating process workflows focused on cycle-time reduction.
Align Cross-Functionally: Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction, Finance, and Legal teams to align sourcing strategies with budget, continuity of supply, and project delivery timelines.
Manage Supplier Qualification & Metrics: Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers to increase competition, track cost savings/avoidance metrics, and deliver data-driven reporting to leadership.
