About the Role

The role is responsible for supporting the Enterprise Business and Technology Solutions Vendor Management Office (EBTS VMO) and Vendor Forensic Analysis function. Assists management in overseeing the vendor portfolio with a focus on strategic vendor governance and risk management across EBTS service providers. This includes collaborating with multiple stakeholders to monitor vendor performance, service delivery, issues, contract changes, and overall vendor effectiveness. The position provides input into vendor selection and management activities related to technology and professional services contracts covering a wide variety of complex specifications, commercial items, and services.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to review vendor performance, utilization, and business outcomes.
  • Understand business needs, contractual requirements, and performance criteria to support vendor oversight and decision-making.
  • Support vendor performance management through scorecards, monitoring tools, and periodic assessments; review service level agreements and performance guarantees with Vendor Relationship Owners (VROs) and contract owners (80 to 100 vendors).
  • Where applicable, assist with vendor reviews, audit activities, documentation collection, and analysis to support governance and compliance objectives.
  • Review, develop, and recommend process improvements to enhance vendor operations, performance, transparency, and administrative efficiency.
  • Review contract budget variances and vendor spend trends; guide VROs on corrective actions as needed and escalate issues requiring remediation.
  • Assist the EBTS VMO team by serving as a liaison for contractual issues, vendor disputes, and vendor governance matters.
  • Support enterprise vendor purchase order processing, vendor reporting, data analysis, and related operational activities.
  • Assist with data collection, documentation, and maintenance of standard operating procedures and repository materials.


What You Bring

Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor degree preferred or relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Requires 0 to 3 years experience in contract and vendor management activities.


Knowledge:

  • Prefers knowledge of process redesign and project management protocols.
  • Requires broad knowledge of technology disciplines.
  • Ability to think strategically and proactively partner cross-functionally to improve vendor results.
  • Requires strong MS Office suite skills.
  • Requires strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and decision making abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail, focus on execution of assignments, tasks, and adaptability to meet changing timelines and priorities.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments, tasks, and projects, and adhere to time sensitive work assignments.
  • Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Requires strong and proven interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interface with all levels of management.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.


Salary Range:
$97,800 - $133,455

This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. This range has been created in good faith based on information known to Horizon at the time of posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case.
