Full Job Description
This role is an integral member of the HR and Total Rewards teams, helping to create and manage Wendy's Compensation programs. This role will partner heavily with all areas of Human Resources and have many opportunities to recommend and implement programs and process improvements to create efficiencies and enhance the employee experience.
Responsibilities
• Lead the Company's Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program administration. Implement and monitor transactions processing, award/grant issuances, general recordkeeping, and customer service support. Primary liaison for third-party vendor and provides guidance to plan participants, HR, and other teams on matters pertaining to LTI plans and policies. Stay updated on regulatory developments and plan activity to ensure compliance with all requirements.
• Serve as subject matter expert for Corporate and International compensation programs. Analyze data, benchmark competitive & best practices, and recommend new programs and process improvements. Partner with HR and other teams to provide guidance, interpretation, and support regarding compensation philosophy, programs, policies, and practices. Set up, test, and process annual compensation programs as needed, ensuring all participants in the process have clear understanding of key milestones.
• Serve as subject matter expert for Relocation program and policies. Partner with external vendor to initiate employee relocations and approve policy exceptions. Act as a resource for HR and employees. Benchmark competitive trends and practices and recommend program improvements.
• Evaluate corporate and field roles to determine internal leveling by reviewing position profiles, partnering with HR Business Partners/managers, and reviewing external benchmarking data. Participate in external job and salary surveys on behalf of Wendy's to support the benchmarking process.
Pay Range: $81,000.00 - $138,000.00 Annually
What we expect from you
• Bachelor's Degree in human resource management, business, finance, or related field required.
• MBA or Masters in HR, MILR, etc. preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in compensation or human resources
• Prior experience with equity compensation
• Results focused; proven track record of achievement
• High attention to detail and solid analytical skills. Ability to analyze data and make solid decisions
• Highly collaborative with strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees
• A clear focus on making continuous process improvements. A strong desire to learn, consistently taking the initiative to broaden skill set
Expected Work Location (In Office): It is expected that you will primarily perform work at the Wendy's Restaurant Support Center (RSC) (1 Dave Thomas Blvd, Dublin, OH 43017), or at other location(s) as designated by the Company. You are required to work in the office at least 4 days a week. Changes to work location arrangements are subject to managerial approval and business needs. #LI-Onsite
The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. The target annual bonus for this role is 10% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
