The Accelerator Responsible Marketing Senior Activity Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the flawless execution and delivery of responsible marketing practices, ensuring Mars Marketing Code compliance, within the Accelerator portfolio of product launches, brand renovations, commercial initiatives, and market activities across North America. Acting as the central operational heartbeat across Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Quality/Regulatory, R&D, and Packaging, this role ensures all integration and brand activities are rigorously planned, cross-functionally aligned, and executed against critical milestones, stage-gates, and business objectives. This role combines disciplined project management and critical-path governance with sharp commercial awareness. The incumbent proactively flags interdependencies and risks, enforces cross-functional accountability, and provides clear visibility of activity health and launch readiness. Operating within a high-pace transformation environment, you will become adept at "influencing without authority" and "managing through ambiguity" to deliver quality growth, pace, and commercial excellence. This role is a project-based role and has a current expected end date of 31st December 2027. What Will Be Your Key Responsibilities? Activity & Critical Path Orchestration - Integrated Activity Planning: Own and maintain end-to-end integrated activity plans, critical paths, milestone schedules, and key deliverables across assigned Accelerator brand projects. - Flawless Execution: Drive day-to-day execution of Responsible Marketing updates incl. new product introductions (NPI), brand renovations, pack transitions, and commercial activities, keeping all workstreams aligned to agreed timelines. - Stage-Gate & iPLC Governance: Coordinate IDT gate reviews and project checkpoints; ensure all business cases, prerequisites, risks, and decision logs are documented and actioned. - Critical Dependency Management: Map cross-functional dependencies across technical, operational, and commercial streams to eliminate bottlenecks before they impact milestones. - S&OP+ Forums & Risk Escalation: Partner with portfolio managers to integrate project deliverables into the 3+3 growth pipeline; facilitate issue escalation and trade-off decisions through S&OP+ (Integrated Business Planning) to protect retail launch windows. - Matrix Squad Leadership: Steer cross-functional project squads across Marketing, Sales, R&D, Packaging, Quality/Regulatory, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and external co-manufacturers. Cross-Functional Integration & Leadership - Central Connector: Serve as the primary coordination node between Responsible Marketing and Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Quality/Regulatory, Packaging, Operations. - Role & Deliverable Clarity: Establish clear RACI/RAPID matrices, workstream ownership, and agreed-upon handoffs across multi-disciplinary squads. - Constructive Challenge: Proactively challenge timeline assumptions, scope creep, and resource constraints to safeguard project viability and launch integrity. - Transparent Communication: Facilitate cross-functional forums and maintain timely visibility of project pivots, risks, and executive decisions. Commercial & Launch Readiness - End-to-End Launch Readiness: Monitor and drive readiness across all commercialization elements, including artwork routing, packaging approvals, - Customer & Market Protection: Track critical-path milestones to prevent disruption to customer commitments, retail fill rates, or commercial launch windows. - Post-Launch Reviews: Participate in relevant post-implementation reviews (PIR) to capture key learnings, optimize future activity planning, and accelerate time-to-market. PMO Governance, Tracking & Continuous Improvement - Status Visibility & Reporting: Provide concise weekly and monthly scorecards/trackers covering activity status, milestone health, risk logs, and key decision items for leadership review. - Governance Documentation: Maintain up-to-date trackers, and risk mitigation registers. - Process Standardization & Improvement: Contribute to the continuous refinement of agile ways of working. #LI-KR2 #LI-Onsite The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits.
