Hoag Health, the top-ranked health system in Orange County, CA is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Sports Medicine Physician to join its growing, multi-disciplinary program in Foothill Ranch, CA. This is an outstanding opportunity to provide comprehensive musculoskeletal care to active adults, athletes, and orthopedic patients in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in non-operative sports medicine, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and ultrasound-guided procedures. Physicians who value clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and team-based care are encouraged to apply.
Details- Outpatient-focused Sports Medicine practice
- Established referral network with primary care, orthopedic, and rehabilitation providers

Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions
- Diagnose and manage sports-related injuries
- Perform ultrasound-guided injections and procedures
- Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans
- Coordinate care with physical therapists, orthopedic surgeons, and primary care providers
- Educate patients on injury prevention, performance optimization, and wellness
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Qualifications- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Sports Medicine
- California medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Experience with diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound preferred
