Qualifications

• 5+ years of overall IT experience
• 3 years managing, designing, and configuring a Splunk environment
• 5 years in a Unix environment, including administration and scripting
• Familiarity with Splunk Enterprise Security and Splunk Enterprise
• Experience in requirement gathering and documentation
• Proficient in automation using Python, with knowledge of JAVA, .Net, Ansible as a plus
• Exposure to tools like GIT, JIRA, and Automation Testing

Responsibilities

• Support and expand the Splunk infrastructure for future architecture needs
• Develop distributed Splunk applications through requirement gathering and setup coordination
• Recommend best practices and troubleshooting for Splunk implementations
• Design and optimize Splunk applications, queries, and data models
• Automate processes with basic and advanced Python scripting
• Implement best practices for Splunk App development and improve continuous initiatives
• Conduct impact assessments for migration efforts
