Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or foreign equivalent required
Two years of experience in speech-language pathology preferred
State licensure as a Speech Pathologist required
CPR or BLS certification from an approved vendor required
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
Responsibilities
Review patient information prior to evaluations and throughout treatment
Conduct and document comprehensive patient assessments
Assist in collecting data on patient outcomes
Instruct and direct support staff according to national and state Practice Acts
Supervise assistants and support staff
Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Job Summary:
Provides diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders. Adheres to state and federal regulatory license, certification and accrediting requirement guidelines. Serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
Master's Degree or foreign equivalent: Required
Two years' speech language pathology experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Required
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Preferred
Facility Specific License/Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
