Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)As a
Speech Language Pathologist, you'll help young children build meaningful communication skills while growing your expertise in pediatric care, AAC, and interdisciplinary treatment.
Role Details- Schedule: Choose between available 4x10 or 5x8 schedules, depending on location and center maturity
- Base pay: $86,000.00 - $103,500.00/year per year
- Bonus: Annual performance bonus potential up to $3,800, with additional compensation opportunities for achieving clinical certifications
What You'll Do- Assess speech, language, and communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver developmentally appropriate speech therapy for children ages 2-6 in an early intervention setting
- Develop and implement communication interventions, including AAC strategies and devices when appropriate
- Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and coordinate treatment plans with OTs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians
- Integrate communication goals into Soar's ESDM-informed approach to early intervention
- Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies they can use outside of therapy
- Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians so communication goals are reinforced throughout each child's day
- Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans based on data, clinical judgment, and each child's evolving needs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required, unless applying for a Clinical Fellowship position
- Current license to practice speech language pathology
- Experience working with children preferred
- AAC experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Interest in interdisciplinary pediatric care
