Responsibilities

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you'll help young children build meaningful communication skills while growing your expertise in pediatric care, AAC, and interdisciplinary treatment.

Role Details

  • Schedule: Choose between available 4x10 or 5x8 schedules, depending on location and center maturity
  • Base pay: $86,000.00 - $108,500.00/year per year
  • Bonus: Annual performance bonus potential up to $3,800, with additional compensation opportunities for achieving clinical certifications

What You'll Do

  • Assess speech, language, and communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver developmentally appropriate speech therapy for children ages 2-6 in an early intervention setting
  • Develop and implement communication interventions, including AAC strategies and devices when appropriate
  • Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and coordinate treatment plans with OTs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians
  • Integrate communication goals into Soar's ESDM-informed approach to early intervention
  • Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies they can use outside of therapy
  • Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians so communication goals are reinforced throughout each child's day
  • Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans based on data, clinical judgment, and each child's evolving needs

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required, unless applying for a Clinical Fellowship position
  • Current license to practice speech language pathology
  • Experience working with children preferred
  • AAC experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Interest in interdisciplinary pediatric care
