Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication impairments
Establish treatment goals and develop Speech Pathology programs
Provide rehabilitative services under medical orders as part of a team

Full Job Description
Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/ cognitive impairments, utilizing a variety of evidenced based therapeutic techniques
Establish treatment goals, as well as develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation
Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients
Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional based treatment approach
