Job Description:Ampersand Therapy is hiring a
Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a
full-time, school-based assignment in Issaquah, Washington, starting
ASAP through January 2027. Work alongside a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to help students build communication skills that support learning, confidence, and connection!

Responsibilities:- Provide direct speech-language services under the direction and supervision of an SLP
- Implement therapy activities and interventions outlined by the supervising SLP
- Support students' progress toward Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Collect data and maintain accurate service documentation
- Prepare and organize therapy materials
- Communicate student progress and observations to the supervising SLP
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support students' communication needs
- Maintain student confidentiality and follow district procedures
Qualifications:- Active Washington State Department of Health SLPA license
- Completion of an SLPA program or a bachelor's degree in a related field
- Completion of 100 clinical hours
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans and guidance from the supervising SLP
- Availability to begin ASAP and work full-time through early January 2027
- Ability to complete required district onboarding and background checks
