We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to design and build the automation platforms that
In this role you will develop software products and platform services that automate the provisioning configuration lifecycle management and operational governance of infrastructure components across the private cloud stack The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering expertise with handson experience delivering automation solutions for infrastructure virtualization storage networking or cloud platforms
This is a developmentfocused role where success is measured by the quality scalability reliability and adoption of the software solutions you build You will leverage modern engineering practices APIs eventdriven architectures and CICD pipelines to transform infrastructure operations into fully automated selfservice platform capabilities
You will collaborate closely with infrastructure virtualization cloud engineering and platform teams to create reusable automation services that reduce operational risk eliminate manual processes and enable infrastructure capabilities to be delivered as code
Key Responsibilities
Design develop test and maintain enterprisegrade software solutions using Java and Spring Boot
Build RESTful APIs and microservices that automate infrastructure provisioning configuration lifecycle management and operational workflows
Develop platform automation capabilities for compute storage networking virtualization and HCI services
Engineer infrastructureascode and APIdriven automation frameworks that enable standardized platform deployments
Design reusable software components libraries and services that support scalable cloud platform operations
Integrate automation solutions into CICD pipelines to support continuous delivery and infrastructure lifecycle management
Develop containerized applications and services supporting platform engineering initiatives
Collaborate with infrastructure architects virtualization engineers and cloud platform teams to define automation requirements and implementation patterns
Create observability monitoring and operational tooling to improve platform reliability and supportability
Participate in code reviews technical design discussions and software engineering best practices
Leverage AIassisted development tools including GitHub Copilot to accelerate software delivery while maintaining engineering quality and governance standards
Drive automation maturity by eliminating manual operational processes through softwarefirst engineering approaches

Required Qualifications
5 years of professional software development experience with a strong emphasis on backend or platform engineering
Expertlevel proficiency in Java and modern software engineering practices
Handson experience building RESTful APIs microservices and distributed systems
Demonstrated experience developing automation solutions for infrastructure private cloud virtualization storage networking or platform engineering environments
Strong understanding of infrastructureascode and APIdriven automation principles
Experience integrating software solutions into CICD pipelines and automated deployment frameworks
Proficiency with Linux operating systems and scripting languages for automation and troubleshooting
Experience with container technologies such as Docker and KubernetesOpenShift
Familiarity with Gitbased development workflows code review processes automated testing and software quality practices
Ability to utilize AIassisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve engineering productivity
Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work across software and infrastructure domains
Desired Qualifications
7 years of experience building software platforms supporting private cloud virtualization or infrastructure services
Java Professional Certification or equivalent software engineering credentials
Experience developing automation for VMware Nutanix OpenStack Kubernetes cloud platforms or hyperconverged infrastructure environments
Experience consuming and integrating infrastructure APIs across compute storage network virtualization and cloud management layers
Knowledge of eventdriven architectures messaging platforms and workflow orchestration frameworks
