What You'll Do
Prioritize and respond to quote requests submitted through Salesforce within 24 hours, which includes:
Pulling relevant cost and "like-product" sales data to support quote development
Re-quote expired quotes as needed
Resolve escalations from Pricing Operations Specialists; escalate to the Director Pricing where needed
Support the Director Pricing:
Pull data for large RFP submissions and contract renewal price negotiations
Support customer base price changes, including notifications and pricing system updates
Provide backup support for key pricing activities as needed
Maintain pricing data, contracts, tools and dashboards in internal systems:
Understand market indices supporting price change calculations
Update pricing grids and prices within Salesforce
Serve as a process lead and first point of escalation for the Pricing Operations team:
Support day-to-day questions related to quoting, pricing policies and systems
Spot-audit quotes and pricing updates for accuracy and compliance
Serve as a super user and trainer for pricing systems and processes:
Train and onboard Pricing Operations Specialists
Maintain SOPs, job aids and process documentation
Serve as a subject matter expert for Salesforce and Excel-based pricing tools
Lead continuous process improvement projects, including requirements definition and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Special projects as assigned
What You'll Bring
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or other related field, plus a minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing, pricing operations or a related analytical role.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing or a related analytical role in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in the flexible packaging industry is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Salesforce preferred.
Demonstrated experience acting as a subject matter expert, mentor or trainer to peers.
Proven ability to document processes and drive consistent adherence to them across a team
Strong financial background is considered a plus.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Must respect and maintain confidentiality of data.
This is a hybrid role, with minimum of 3 days in office.
