Airgas is Hiring for a Specialist, Safety and Compliance in San Diego, CA or Santa Ana, CA !

Job Duties:

  • Safety and Compliance Program Execution: Collaborate to implement company safety and compliance programs, conduct site visits, inspections, and audits to partner in identifying risks, and support operational areas including vehicle and DOT compliance.
  • Documentation and Incident Management: Track and manage corrective actions, compliance tasks, and training records. This also includes assisting with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and maintaining accurate regulatory documentation.
  • Communication, Training, and Reporting: Build alignment and proactively communicate safety expectations across the organization, coordinate training and engagement efforts, and prepare necessary reports, presentations, and data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • ASSP certification(s) or related safety credentials preferred.
  • Business acumen with the ability to align safety and compliance objectives with operational performance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace platforms, including spreadsheet management, reporting, presentations, and collaboration tools.
